Medical device simulation PC application

Details

Architected and developed a Windows simulation application for multiple medical devices connected to a PC through CAN bus.

The simulator gave development and integration teams a controlled way to reproduce device behaviour, test communication scenarios and diagnose interface problems without requiring every physical device to be available. Software work for this project was performed in accordance with IEC 62304 Class A.

Technologies

Windows 7 and Windows 10, C++17, Qt, CAN bus, Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and 2015, and SVN.
